We are a day service provider, offering Outreach and Well-being interventions and Out of Term Time support activities for children and young people with additional needs. Particularly those with Speech, Language and communication needs, are on the Autistic Spectrum or with associated needs and are supported by Education and Health Care Plans or a Statement of SEN. Our project aims to provide holistic activities and interventions for each individual, by way of referrals from local schools, or direct by Parents/Carers, with access to the Direct Payment Support Scheme.
The activities we offer are set within a beautiful rural, natural environment where outdoor learning can be appreciated. Additional indoor activities are also available, some of a therapeutic nature.
We are a Community Interest Company, with a board of advisers that is designed to support the local community, with special educational needs and land based activities in mind. We use the nature of horticulture, recreation and other land based activities to provide well-being development and support to disadvantaged children and young people assisting with their social, emotional and personal development, as well as improve their academic outcomes, either by re-engaging them back into education or offering an alternative delivery for learning. We inspire children and young adults to be able to excel more from hands on experiences that engages and focuses them, encouraging life skills.
The overall aim is to assist in the progress of social development and life skills by offering individualised interventions as an outreach service to other education provisions. This natural unique provision will offer young people a bespoke approach to social development with a flexible outlook, designed around the young person’s individual needs. Our premises offer a relaxing and sensory environment where participants can feel at ease and open to get involved and shape their own learning experience.
